What I check before a device is recommended

Network stability — Wi-Fi and Ethernet performance under real household conditions, not just a lab connection.
Device compatibility — which apps and players actually run smoothly on Android, iOS, WebOS and Smart TV hardware.
Setup friction — how many steps it actually takes a non-technical household to get a device working.
Buffering diagnostics — isolating whether an issue is the device, the router, or the video format before recommending a fix.
